Science, Ethics and the Law

Scientific advances in society have necessitated scientists to improve techniques, which assist law enforcement in apprehending criminals. Forensic Science is an advancing field, which explores various methods to aid the law enforcement community. With an increasing boost in technology, some forensic procedures are thought to be controversial and must continuously be justified by the scientific community. In this workshop students will explore various Forensic techniques used by science and law enforcement to apprehend criminals.
