Each day brings so many opportunities to see the world and discover the meanings it holds for us. Students will spend the day focusing on an event, a moment, an observation, or a realization that holds meaning. We'll explore an idea through a number of writing exercises, and participants will leave with a first draft of an observational essay.
Amy is an education lecturer, writing teacher, and nature lover. She writes just about all day, every day. Her published writing ranges from poetry to college composition textbooks. At her day job, SUNY College at Oneonta, she regularly writes policies, promotional materials, instructional materials, and informational web sites.
